Balancing Energy
Energy comes in flavors: fire, wood, water, metal and earth. Each element has its own qualities. Each quality can be found anywhere along a spectrum of energy or at any frequency of energy level for that element. Fire can be the sun or a warm kitten. Wood can be as supple as bamboo or as unbending as an oak. Water can be stagnant or moving like a well or a river, meandering or raging like a brook or a swollen river. Metal can be bright or rusty, malleable or strong as steel. Earth can be overpowering as the Rockies or as minimal as a pebbled path. Most things in our world present a combination of energies. For example, a round, blue yo-yo would have metal energy (toy, round), water energy (blue), and wood energy (yo-yo wood and string). Each of the five elements work together to create or control the other elements. To download a pdf of the Creation-Control cycle, click here. |
