The Bagua Energy Map
This energy map overlays any environment to define which areas are controlled by which energies. By adding creation elements we can increase the energies of each area or gua.

To orient this map over your property, stand at your front door. Align the bottom of the bagua with the wall the door is on. Your door will be in one of these three guas: Knowledge, Career or Benefactors.

Your wealth corner will always be located in the furthest back left area of your home, based on your standing in the door. The same works for every room in your home. Stand in the door to your bedroom. The wealth corner of your bedroom is the area furthest back and to the left.

Since the Wealth gua is an area of wood energy, the more wood element you have the better. To increase or feed wood, add more water. So one way to increase your wealth energy in your bedroom would be to put a blue vase of fresh red and purple flowers. The vase is blue (water energy), filled with water, and holding plants (wood) that are red and purple with green leaves (wood).
The bagua overlays infinitely. It is used to evaluate the entire property based on the driveway as the entrance, the building based on the front door, and a room within the building based on the door closest to and/or in the most direct line with the front entrance. It can also be used for furniture surfaces, like bookshelves, desktops and cabinets.

If your building is not in the shape of a complete rectangle it is said to have a projection. Some buildings are in the shape of an L, T, U or other letters and shapes. Projections can cause missing or enhanced guas, depending upon whether they are missing by over half the width or length of the property.

Anything connected to the main body of the property by roof, foundation or road is considered part of the property within the bagua map. So if your garage is attached to the house by a connecting arm of roofed walkway, you are missing parts of your bagua and need to take steps to balance your missing energies.
